Model Shoot

The following is a contract and agreement, that you understand what you are expecting and what you will get in return. Please read through this carefully, if you agree, fill in your name, mark the "Yes" and fill in today's date below and submit. You will than be taken to a sign up page where you can sign up for one of the Shoots above. If you are chosen for that slot, I will provide a copy of the agreement to you via email, along with your set time.

    Model Shoot Contract

    I agree and understand that...

    The Purpose of the Model Shoot: The Model Shoot is for the purpose of the photographer to improve upon her skills and try new techniques. I understand that this is a Voluntary Opportunity and in return of giving my time, I have the opportunity to receive free images.

    Cancellations/Missed Appointments:
    Client Agrees: While I understand that this is a voluntary opportunity, I also understand that should I agree to these terms and sign up for a date, that I am committing to the slot. Therefore, attendance will be expected on my behalf.
    • Cancelling is required no less than 24 hours prior to shoot. (example: A 3:30 pm Shoot on Saturday, must be cancelled by 3:30pm Friday the day before.)
    • Life happens and people get sick, especially with little ones. Should this happen the day of, PLEASE let me know as early as possible!
    • Missed Appointments will not be made up. These are offered shoots and your slot is your slot.
    Photographer agrees:
    I agree to notify you as soon as I can, should I need to cancel the shoot due to illness, family emergency or weather. If this happens, your shoot will be rescheduled for a later date and I will notify you of when. You will NOT loose your spot!

    Rescheduled Shoots:
    This will only happen if I have to cancel a session for any reason. They will not be rescheduled if you miss a session or have to cancel.
    Reasons I may Cancel: I will only cancel a shoot if weather is bad: rain, snow storm, etc. I will also cancel should I end up sick and unable to perform the session or on the chance of Family Emergency.

    Model Shoot Times:
    Please arrive on time, dressed and ready to go! If your time is set for 3:30, please arrive by no later than 3:15. This gives us time to get to know each other and to get releases filled out. I will be starting your shoot promptly at your schedule time! Time slots are as posted, if you want a longer slot, I encourage you to schedule a Personal Photo Session with me. Finally, please note the following:
    • No Shows: These will be treated as missed appointments and they will not be reschedule.
    Late Arrivals:
    5 Minutes late - will cause you to lose 5 minutes off your slot. I will not extend your slot into someone else's. So if your slot is at 3:30 and you get there at 3:35, your slot will end at 4pm on the dot.
    10 Minutes late - will be considered a Missed Appointment and I will not shoot after the last slot, nor will I rescheduled.

    *Running late makes everyone stressed out, these situations do not make for good photos! So please if you really are running that behind, just let me know and we will cancel your slot. There will be other times to try a Model Shoot.

    Special Requests:
    The Model Shoots are free and as such I cannot take special requests for during the shoots. Themes are set and will not change. For instance: I do a Bubble Shoot with Bubbles, please don't come dressed for a Sports shoot! However, if there is a particular type of shoot you would like to do, than I encourage you to book a Personal Photo Session instead, otherwise I will take your recommendations into consideration. However, there is no promise or guarantee that I will be able to turn it into a future Model Shoot later.

    Images:
    Participating in a Model Shoot is not a guarantee of images. In agreeing to do so, you acknowledge this and will not hold the photographer liable or responsible if images are not provided due to lack of quality. However, it is my goal to provide you with images in exchange for your time. Should I obtain quality images, you will be notified and given the opportunity to review any quality images. No one wants a blurry or over exposed photos and I most certainly do not want to provide you with that kind of quality. I strive to capture fun and memorable photos that I feel are worthy to hang on your wall, show your friends and your loved ones. As such, I promise to provide you with those types of photos only. However, given that these shoots are designed to be short and for me to practice with, there is always a chance that I may not get any quality images. Should this happen, I will be more than willing to discuss the possibility of a personal photo session for you, where I have more time to get those memorable images.

    You will be notified after I have reviewed and edited your images. If there are any to provide you with, I will contact you to  to set up a time to meet and review those images before I load them up onto your Gallery. This will be a great time to tell me what you want and what sizes. After I will add the finishing touches and then load them up for you on your personal gallery, so that you may download them at your convenience. You will receive a Print Release at the Model Shoot so that you may take your images to be printed.

    * While I want to get you images from the Model Shoots, please understand that due to the time limit and that I will be practicing new skills and techniques, that I cannot guarantee you any photos from the Model Shoots. I will obviously work very hard to get good images for you, as I don't want your time to be wasted. But on the chance that after a session that doesn't happen, I want to make it very clear. This is after all a Volunteer opportunity only and I will be donating my time for both the shoot and the editing to you.

    Communication:
    Communication is KEY!!! Please, please communicate with me ahead of time if:
    • You or your family have any special needs that need to be met. As a parent of two special needs kids, I understand this more than anyone!
    • If you are going to be late or have to cancel for any reason.
    I want to accommodate you and your loved ones as much as I possibly can and while I understand that I cannot do that all the time, I will do my best to make your experience a good one! The more notice you give me, the better chance I have to try and accommodate.

    If you agree to these terms in the contract, please fill in your Name, Check Yes and Today's Date. You will than be taken to the Sign up Page. A word document with a copy of this contract will be emailed to you, along with your Model Shoot information after you sign up. Thank you
